David Beckham seriously considering the next James Bond?

His name is Beckam, David Beckham. And maybe soon Bond, James Bond?
According to the Daily Star, the 40-year-old is ‘seriously considering’ taking on the iconic movie role if Daniel Craig’s contract is not renewed. Beckham’s many fans are said to have encouraged him to try out for the role.
Sure, Beckham as the next Bond sounds like nothing but some incredibly far-fetched hear-say at this point. But on another level, doesn’t it also sound pretty awesome?
He’s already landed a couple roles, most recently a minor speaking role in the upcoming Guy Ritchie film “Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur.” And although he’s aware of his limitations, Becks sounds ready to give this acting thing a real go.
“I am very aware that many sportsmen and other celebrities have turned their hand to acting and failed. But what I have done so far I have loved,” Beckham said.
“I would love to do more, but I can’t just jump into roles that are too big for me. I want to build up my experience and see where it takes me.”
Beckham may not be qualified for a big a role as James Bond just yet, but he certainly looks the part already.
Posh Spice would make a good Bond girl, too. Just saying!
